Jerry Trimble Helicopters (Trimble Aviation) is one of Oregon's longest-running flight training centers and a full-service Fixed Base Operator (FBO) at McMinnville Municipal Airport (KMMV) — 50+ years of helicopter and fixed-wing instruction, scenic tours, an FAA-approved testing center, and complete ground services for transient and based aircraft. The new site had to serve two very different visitors at once: a prospective student researching flight training, and a pilot inbound to KMMV who needs fuel prices, ramp fees, and weather right now.

The Challenge
The previous site buried the airport essentials pilots actually search for — fuel pricing, ramp/tie-down fees, FBO services, and current field weather — inside dense, dated pages, while the flight-training story lacked a clear path to enroll. Aviation is a high-trust, detail-driven niche, and the brand needed a site that reads as credible to a 10,000-hour pilot and approachable to a first-time student.

The Solution
We rebuilt the site around the two audiences it serves. Pilots get a dedicated FBO section with live KMMV weather, transparent 100LL & Jet A fuel pricing, posted ramp fees, and one-tap requests for fuel, tie-downs, and ground handling. Students get a guided training funnel — programs, an interactive fleet, financial aid, and "Book a Demo Flight" within reach on every screen. The whole experience is fast, mobile-first for use on the ramp, and engineered for aviation SEO so nearby and transient pilots find Trimble first.
